Snowline Sprint

Find a clean line, take a little air, and bank the landing.

What is Snowline Sprint?

Snowline Sprint is an original single-player browser skiing game created in OpenGame Studio. Follow one marked 900 m trail toward the finish arch, or steer toward five optional kickers to attempt a spin. A clean finish wins even with no trick points, so you can learn the route before trying a higher-scoring run.

Your objective
Finish the 900 m trail
Default clean run
About 60 seconds
Optional kickers
5 side ramps

This is a separately named original OpenGame prototype with its own procedural artwork and rules. Cork7 is a different game, linked in the accompanying guide.

Use a keyboard for tuck and braking as well as steering. Touch provides Left, Right and hold/release Jump at the default glide speed. Portrait and landscape layouts were checked in a simulated phone viewport; physical devices remain untested.

Steer and spinA/D or Left/Right steer on snow and rotate the skier while airborne. On touch, use the two arrow controls.
JumpHold Space or the touch Jump control to charge, then release to pop. Riding over a kicker can also lift the skier naturally.
Tuck and brakeW or Up tucks; S or Down brakes. Touch uses automatic glide at the default speed.
Pause and resumeP, Escape or the visible Pause/Resume control. Pausing keeps your run state.
RestartR, Restart or Retry returns to ready with cleared run time, distance and score. Start begins the new attempt.

02Your first run

How do you play Snowline Sprint?

  1. Follow the central route first

Start and let automatic glide carry you downhill. The clear middle lane bypasses the five kickers. Watch progress and distance to the finish.

  2. Try one straight jump

Use a charged pop or approach a visible ramp. Leave the rotation controls alone for the first landing so you can see the air time and the snow beneath you.

  3. Rotate, then release

While airborne, use left or right to turn. Release when the alignment hint becomes safe, and let the skis meet the slope before expecting points.

  4. Reach the arch or retry

The finish ends the run with your result. A crash explains its cause. Use Retry to return to ready and change one decision on the next attempt.

Understand the game

Land it before you bank it

A trick only changes banked score after a safe landing. The goal remains reaching the finish.

Small spins have a clear reward

A landed 180 earns 100 points; a landed 360 earns 250. Straight landings are valid and award no spin points.

Alignment is forgiving, sideways landings are not

Forward and backward landings are accepted near the downhill line. The on-screen angle hint distinguishes alignment from a sideways landing.

The markers give you a boundary

Leaving the marked trail starts a warning. Staying outside for more than one continuous second ends the run.

03Make the next run count

How can you improve at Snowline Sprint?

Use the bypass to learn the run

A finish needs no score threshold. Begin with the central lane, then add one optional jump instead of chasing every kicker at once.

Watch the landing hint

A larger rotation is only useful if it lands. Release the steering input with time to settle when the hint reports alignment.

Change one action after a crash

For an off-trail crash, return between the markers sooner. For a sideways landing, simplify the rotation before adding another turn.

Questions about Snowline Sprint

Is Snowline Sprint the original Cork7 game?

Snowline Sprint is a separate original OpenGame prototype. It uses its own procedural skier, mountain trail, scoring and controls. The Cork7 guide links to the original game.

Do I have to use every jump to win?

No. All five kickers are optional, and the central route can reach the finish without trick points.

Why did my spin award no points?

Points are banked only after a completed rotation lands safely. A straight landing awards no spin points, and a sideways crash does not bank the attempted trick.

Does the best score persist?

The tested website preview displays Session Best. Treat this as the best score for the current session, and do not rely on it surviving a new browser session.
