Refund Policy
Refund rules for OpenGame credit packs, subscriptions, and AI game generation.
Last updated: 2026-06-17
Overview
OpenGame sells credits and subscriptions for AI game generation. Because credits can trigger provider costs and produce downloadable game artifacts, refunds depend on whether credits have been used.
One-time credit packs
You may request a refund for an unused one-time credit pack within 7 days of purchase. A pack is considered unused when none of its Studio Credits have been consumed by OpenGame Studio, 2D Game, 3D Game, API usage, or another paid generation workflow.
If only part of a pack has been used, we may decline the refund or offer a partial goodwill adjustment at our discretion.
Subscriptions
Subscriptions can be cancelled from Settings → Billing. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically refund the current billing period.
You may request a refund for the latest subscription charge within 7 days if the included credits have not been used. Unused subscription credits may be revoked when a refund is approved.
Generation failures
If a paid generation fails because of an OpenGame service error, the system should return or revoke the reserved credits automatically when the failure is confirmed. If that does not happen, contact support with the run ID or order number.
Refunds are not normally issued for prompt quality, subjective creative fit, third-party browser limitations, or changes made after downloading an artifact.
Non-refundable cases
The following are generally not refundable:
- Credits already consumed by successful AI generation or export.
- Downloads or artifacts already delivered successfully.
- Account misuse, policy violations, or attempts to bypass billing.
- Charges older than 7 days unless required by applicable law.
How to request a refund
Email support@opengame.app with your account email, order number, and a short description of the issue. We normally respond within 3 business days.
Approved refunds are returned through the original payment provider when possible. Payment providers may take additional time to post funds back to your account.
