Ride a Dino Guide: Grip, Taming and Your First Ranch
Find the right Ride a Dino game and understand Grip training, early taming milestones and ranch progression, with clear limits on unverified advice.

Checked October 24, 2026. This starting guide uses the developer's official description and published badge text. Exact controls, upgrade prices and catch conditions still need in-game verification.
Ride a Dino combines dinosaur riding, Grip training and a ranch collection. The game covered here is Ride a Dino by and Catch Them All, Roblox place 93523763376122. Check that creator before following a guide: similarly named dinosaur experiences can have different rules.

What should you do first?
Start with the game's own introductory lesson. The public badges provide useful milestones: First Tame describes winning a first race and taming a dinosaur; Ranch Hand describes finishing a lesson with a pen, a machine and a herd to catch.
Use those as a checklist for understanding the opening loop, rather than immediately hunting a rare creature. If you have not yet learned how to start a ride or return to the ranch, follow the current tutorial prompts before trying advice intended for later progress.
What is Grip, and where do you train it?
The developer identifies Dino Machines as the way to build Grip. The public description does not provide a formula connecting Grip to ride duration, catch chance or individual dinosaur requirements.
A practical approach is to compare your own runs. Note your displayed Grip, the ride you attempted and the point where it ended. Train, repeat a comparable attempt, and check what changed. This helps you distinguish a progression limit from a missed input without relying on an invented “required Grip” number.
For a useful question or bug report, include the dinosaur, area, displayed Grip and on-screen message. “I cannot catch anything” leaves out the information another player needs to help.
How do riding, collecting and the ranch connect?
The official loop moves from riding and taming to bringing dinosaurs home. Pens can be upgraded, and the ranch earns cash while you ride. The listing advertises more than 50 species and nine eras, with rarity names ranging from Common to Divine.
For your first upgrades, read the current in-game description and price before spending. Ask what the upgrade changes and whether that change addresses your present obstacle. A more expensive option is not automatically the best next purchase; this guide has not measured payback times or compared the economy.
The developer's phrase “while you ride” also does not establish an offline-income system. Check the actual game before assuming money accumulates while you are logged out.
Should you chase Secret Dinos immediately?
The listing says Secret Dinos appear occasionally, but does not publish a complete timetable or guaranteed spawning method. There is no verified spawn schedule in this guide.
Our suggested starting goal is more modest: finish the introductory loop, understand one successful tame and learn how the ranch works. Keep unusual encounters as observations rather than treating a single sighting as a reliable rule. If you record one, include the date, area and any event indicator visible at the time.
Which devices does Ride a Dino support?
The developer lists desktop, console, mobile and tablet support. That does not tell us the exact input mapping on each device. Use the prompts shown on your platform, especially before following a PC-only control tip on a phone.
During a first attempt, check whether you can see both the riding action and the relevant control or meter. If the layout is difficult to read, record your device and orientation along with a screenshot; that is more useful than a report that simply says mobile is broken.
A smaller dinosaur game to create yourself
The approachable part of this design is the transition from one successful ride to a growing collection. An original prototype could focus on mounting a creature, staying aboard and returning with a reward before adding a larger economy.
